Elissa & Vic’s Laguna Hills, California wedding was truly such a beautiful, intimate day. When you think of the perfect summer day, this had to be it. California pulled out all the stops for blue skies and warm sunshine.

The day started with Vic and his groomsmen who had me laughing the entire time (you’ll see why). We wrapped up the morning with Elissa and her beautiful bridesmaids. The first look between the bride and her girls was so sweet and genuine – definitely becoming one of my favorite parts of photographing weddings.

Elissa and Vic got married at Crossline Community Church in Laguna Hills. This was one of those wedding where you truly feel God all around you. Before the wedding ceremony, the bridal party and the pastor prayed over the marriage; it was such a beautiful moment to witness and be apart of.

After the ceremony, the newly married couple and I spent time shooting their romantics. I had so much fun getting to take some artsy shots while capturing this couple’s personalities and love. We then headed to their reception which was such a blast. Elissa and Vic seriously had the most genuine, kind people surrounding and celebrating them during their big day. The DJ added to the fun vibe by doing trivia in lieu of calling tables up by numbers for the buffet. Things got heated and ended with a classic match of Rock, Paper, Scissors 😉

Congratulations to this sweet couple!

What NOT To Wear to Your Engagement Session

As a wedding and elopement photographer, I love getting to connect with couples and learn their true style + hearts. When I book a couple for their engagements, I typically will send them a style guide with some inspo for some looks and tones if they are looking for some suggestions. But above all, I always include my #1 thing NOT to wear to an engagement session.
