One of the biggest stressors for engaged couples (besides planning the most important day of their lives…) has to be planning what to wear to engagement photos. My sweet friends, I promise it’s not as scary as it sounds. 

As a wedding and elopement photographer, I love getting to connect with couples and learn their true style + hearts. When I book a couple for their engagements, I typically will send them a style guide with some inspo for some looks and tones if they are looking for some suggestions. But above all, I always include my #1 thing NOT to wear to an engagement session.

It’s a no-brainer.

Don’t wear something that you don’t feel comfortable in – whether the clothing is simply uncomfortable or it just doesn’t fit YOUR style… Don’t wear it! That’s it.
