Fun fact: if you Google “dreamy boho elopement”, Jada and Dion’s Joshua Tree National Park boho elopement will pop up. (If not, you’re using the wrong computer 😉) No, but really. From the unique geometric altar, to the lush warm florals, and a couple very much in love, it was just like a fairytale.
Believe it or not, these lovers were models for this boho elopement styled shoot in Joshua Tree National Park! I am a big fan of participating in styled shoots. Not only do I get some incredible content, but I am also able to challenge myself. This shoot took place with some harsh desert sun, but it also allowed me to let my creativity take over. Looking back at these images from August just fills my heart to the brim. Jada and Dion were such a breath of fresh air to work with…
Despite an absolutely perfect day spent at the sweet Joshua Tree Airbnb, no photoshoot is complete without at least one issue. If you’ve spent any time in the desert, you know how rough the terrain can be. Well, let’s just say that Jada learned first hand how rough it was. 😅 It turns out that the desert is full of spikes and red ants (AKA: not barefoot-friendly). 😬 Once she put her New Balance sneakers on though, we were vibing.
A huge shoutout to the ones who made this shoot possible! This dreamy Joshua Tree National Park boho elopement was put together by Ver the Makers in collaboration with McKenna Mansfield.
