As a girl raised in the Midwest, I’m no stranger to Fall. For most of my life, I experienced crisp air, an ever-present breeze, crunchy leaves, and cozy sweaters. But when I moved to California in 2014, Fall became almost nonexistent in my life! Believe it or not, Orange County doesn’t have that crunchy foliage or even crisp air that burns your nose as you inhale. So when Angel and Michael booked me for their Yosemite Fall Adventure Session while on their honeymoon, it was pure kismet. I was ready for some Fall weather!

My husband Jeffrey and I were actually so stoked for Angel and Michael’s session. Not only was it an excuse to get away for a bit, but we were celebrating our wedding anniversary! Yosemite National Park is notoriously busy. But we couldn’t have asked for a better time! We explored the park with minimal sightings of other visitors (which is insane, because the Fall colors were pure magic✨). If Yosemite is on your bucket list, I highly recommend exploring it in the late Fall and on a weekday if at all possible. All 4 of us had such an incredible time sightseeing and taking incredible photos. Angel and Michael wore their wedding attire, which they had just worn for their Intimate Aliso Viejo, California Wedding! They looked absolutely incredible amongst the dramatic landscape. 

Angel and Michael’s Yosemite Fall Adventure Session was just one of those sessions that was so good for my soul. One of the greatest parts of being a photographer is not only getting travel, but to also see incredible places with people that fill your cup. Angel and Michael are such adventurous people that love the outdoors, hiking, and filming. Michael even shot a Super Eight video on the trip which was so cool to watch him film. And booking a session while on your honeymoon!? Yes, please! 🤩
