Although this was a styled shoot, Jayda and Deion’s love was too sweet not to share. Located in Joshua Tree National Park with its mesmerizing desert landscape, rugged mountains in the background, and unique rock formations, to say that I was thrilled to shoot here was an understatement! To make it even better, the session was at one of my favorite times of day — golden hour. As you can see both the sunset at Jayda and Dieon’s love was on fire.

Their love and smiles were so genuine I would find myself also smiling even though I was behind the camera. Their willingness to be guided and directed is something that I will cherish as well. Joshua Tree felt comforting and peaceful to me in a way much like the ocean does. Something about the golden light that kissed everything in its sight and the picturesque scene it provided for us. It was absolutely perfect.
