It’s no secret that I love photographing couples who are madly in love with one another. But there’s just something about photographing someone who I know, and watching them beam from ear to ear with their person. Portia and Andrew’s cozy engagement session in Joshua Tree was so special to capture.

Portia and I actually went to college together at Biola University. Since day one, she’s always had the best, most infectious laughter. Biola also happens to be where Portia and Andrew’s love story began. So it’s truly such a joy to see them together, all these years later; they are so giddy with love for one another. After college, they tackled so much long distance in their relationship – literally on opposite sides of the country. 2022 was a game changer for them for 2 reasons though… 

1. They’re living in the SAME state now! 🤗
2. They’re getting MARRIED in a month!! 🥳

Portia and Andrew are the definition of joy, and I am so thankful to get to capture such beautiful chapters in their life together. Their cozy engagement session in Joshua Tree was such a sweet way to commemorate this part of their journey. Portia and Andrew wore the coziest sweaters that just screamed “FALL” to me. So I think it’s fitting to share their session when Fall is just a month away!!
