Chanelle and Travis’ Lake Arrowhead, California wedding was the epitome of romantic and classy at Miller’s Landing. When this couple dreamt about their perfect June wedding, California delivered with sunshine and the prettiest blue sky. The new Mr. & Mrs. tied the knot at a brand new wedding venue up in Lake Arrowhead called Miller’s Landing. The entire area was surround by lush greenery, towering pines, and made for the perfect atmosphere for the couple’s big day.
I started off my day spending some time with the groom and his groomsmen as they got ready. It was such a special moment to be able to capture Travis as he prepared his Navy uniform with his closest people surrounding him. His best man caught my eye… the couple’s golden retriever, Palmer, stepped up to the plate to handle all of the most important duties of a best man.
Chanelle and her bridesmaids truly embodied grace and elegance. The beautiful bride wore a mermaid-style satin gown with a plunging v-neck lined with lace and crystal leading down to the long train. Her bridesmaids wore gold satin gowns and looked absolutely flawless.
Choosing a favorite part of the day was a tough feeat, but the first look between Chanelle and her sweet father takes the cake. Capturing such an emotional moment for a father and daughter that I know they will cherish forever is easily one of my favorite parts of this job. Runner up for the best moments of the day was a Sword Ceremony with Travis’ Coast Guardsmen was such a fun experience. This enchanting day ended in the venue’s barn, full of Chanelle & Travis’ family and friends celebrating the newlyweds.
