As a full-time wedding photographer (and past bride), I know firsthand how important it is to ensure a couple that their images from their wedding day are safe. I’m sure we all have heard one-too-many horror stories of images getting lost, a memory card getting corrupted, etc. I know how special and cherished a wedding day is; it flies by so quickly. Your wedding photos will be images that you cherish for a lifetime.

So to give you some peace of mind, I’m here to ensure you that your images are safe with me. Let me tell you how!

How I Backup My Images

  1. Throughout your wedding day, I am shooting on 2 memory cards at all times. This ensures that if one of the memory cards is corrupted, the other card will still have the images. A bonus?? I always have a second-shooter with me on a wedding day – trust me, we’ve got your back!
  2. As soon as I get home, I download your images onto 2 separate hard drives (yes, even if it’s 1:00 a.m.). Once the images are downloaded, I put the 2 memory cards into a fireproof safe. These memory cards do not get touched or taken out until your images are delivered to you.
  3. All images are also stored in an online Cloud System.

The trust my couples have in me that I not only capture their special day, but protect those images, is a job I take very seriously. I am here to make sure you and your love don’t have a single worry in the world regarding the delivery of your wedding day photos.
