Ximena and Chris’ engagement session was nothing short of luxurious. They wanted their session to be in Malibu during golden hour and in all honesty I was very excited about it. Ximena started the session out in a beautiful and elegant white dress that paired perfectly with the coastal landscape. We made small talk throughout the session about their plans for the future and snippets of their love story. They were accompanied by their puppy for a few shots and it was so sweet seeing their love. The sun bounced off the two as I took their pictures and it felt so magical.

We then traveled down to the water where they changed into more casual attire and it gave all the beach vibes. They strolled along the beach letting the waves crash into them just focusing on each other and the excitement and love they have for one another. They popped champagne, truly creating a timeless and luxurious story captured in every frame. 

This session holds a special place in my heart because I had just found out that I was pregnant with my son and I truly was feeling all of the emotions. On my home from this session, I found myself getting lost in a state of reflection but also excited for what was to come. I remember thinking “What a life I get to live!” To be able to capture a love like Ximena and Chris share will forever be an honor.
