You guys are not ready for this one. Nicolet and Sam’s Romantic Vista Valley, California Wedding was straight out of Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” music video. I can’t even wrap my head around this wedding day; it was something out of my wildest dreams 😉 But really, Nicolet and Sam’s love for one another and Jesus was truly such a beautiful thing to get to witness. 

Wedding Morning

The morning of the wedding day, Nicolet and Sam were surrounded by those who were nearest to their hearts. The wedding party was so much fun to be around; everyone was full of so much joy and love for Nicolet and Sam. Every little After a first look with the bridesmaids, Nicolet had a first look with her dad and then Sam. The emotions that come out during first looks are some of my favorite reactions throughout any wedding day. We were able to sneak away after some bride and groom romantics before doing all the wedding party photos – which were SO much fun. Nicolet and Sam tied the knot under the most picturesque oak tree… just wait until you see what I’m talking about!

Time to PARTY

When the ceremony and family photos wrapped up, it was time to start the party. Nicolet and Sam entered their reception with the biggest smiles I had ever seen (up until that point). The *real* big smiles came minutes after when a Cameo video from Florida Georgia Line was projected onto the wall. Sam had surprised his bride with FGL congratulating them on their marriage. Nicolet’s face said it all – she was SHOCKED. The amount of people celebrating Nicolet and Sam from all the chapters of their lives was such a humbling, wholesome experience. I’m sure you’ve heard “it takes a village to raise a child”. That statement always shows on a wedding day… being surrounded by all whose lives have been touched. 

I am always left feeling so grateful for the love and moments I have the honor of capturing for couples. You know the ones… the moments so good you wish time could pause.
